The Challenge
Help the Bemidji Community Art Center to identify a new building to replace an antiquated facility that is far too small to accommodate the organization's growing programs
Goals
- Prioritize buildings among several candidates
- Help the staff and Board make a compelling case for funding and community support
Scope of Work
Artspace conducted an extended Preliminary Feasibility Visit that included assessments of four potential candidate buildings and prepared a report that included a recommendation to choose one of the four buildings based on its size, location, flexibility, and cost.
Update
The Art Center has moved forward with a plan to acquire the building, hired an architect to design its new facility, and begun a capital campaign that uses our report as a major tool.
