April Barnhart

Jewelry, Artspace Jackson Flats

Drawing inspiration from fashion, nature and architecture, silversmith and jewelry designer April Barnhart founded Aprilierre to extend her art into metalwork using sterling silver and semi-precious gemstones. A student of the Metal Heart Jewelry Studio, April’s art has been featured at the “Arts Round up” in Dickinson, ND—her home town—and can also be spotted at the Mill City Farmer’s Market and the Guthrie Theatre in downtown Minneapolis.

Her vision for Aprilierre is to provide ornamentation and inspiration, from funky creations to sophisticated elegance, allowing the wearer to express emotion, personality and individual style. Each piece is a master-crafted work of art; every moment it is worn, the piece becomes part of a greater beauty that transcends time, geography and culture.
